What is career transition (outplacement)?

For many people, an outplacement (career transition) program provides the structure, time and encouragement for individuals to review their careers, possibly consider new career directions, do some reinventing, or simply undertake a thorough stock take of their career to date.

Essentially, career transition is a process that equips individuals with superior career planning and job search skills to enable them to secure a career objective that complements their skill set, experience and career aspirations.
