Career Transition – why we prefer not to call it “outplacement”...
Audrey Page & Associates has always been ambivalent about the word “outplacement”, widely used in the industry, we prefer to use the term Career Transition.
Outplacement suggests exclusion, separation, judgement, and often a feeling of failure.
We look at it a little more positively – for us, it’s more about helping our clients and participants to effectively manage change – to look for new beginnings.
Simply put, we feel it is our role to help our clients prepare for and effectively manage their staff career transitions.
The best ending can be a new beginning.
